Replaying old love songs can arouse sexual urges
"People say love songs are always good, and they will never be forgotten even if they travel to the ends of the world." Music is people's "second language". It can not only express emotions, but also resonate and stimulate sexual desire. According to the French "Music Psychology" magazine, a recent French study found that listening to old songs, especially those songs that you loved to listen to when you were young and in love, can arouse people's sexual impulses.
Psychologists from the University of Paris 11 in France conducted this study. They invited 350 middle-aged couples and asked them to fill out forms, including the frequency and satisfaction of their sex life, as well as their five favorite songs when they were in love. The researchers then gave them a record and asked them to listen to it for an hour every day. Some couples' records are old love songs from when they were in love, while others are the latest pop music. Three months later, the men rated their sex again. The results showed that couples who listened to old songs had significantly higher sexual frequency and satisfaction.
Researchers analyze that music is the best catalyst for love and can convey strong emotions. Old songs about love bear witness to the relationship between two people and remind people of the passion and beauty of their youth. Therefore, when middle-aged and elderly people create a sexual atmosphere, they can choose old songs from that year as "background music" to cheer for sexual intercourse.
