Putting a TV in the bedroom can reduce the couple’s life by half
Are you considering buying a TV to put in your bedroom? Think again, because according to new research, having a TV in the bedroom may affect your life as a couple.
A study by Italian scientists found that families with a TV in the bedroom spent only half as much time having sex as those without a TV. This research team surveyed 523 Italian couples to study the impact of television on their married life. Research has found that couples who don't have a TV in their bedroom have sex an average of eight times a month. However, couples who had a TV in the bedroom had sex less than four times a month. For couples over 50, the effect is even more pronounced.
The study also found that different TV programs also have an impact on couples’ lives. Half of couples who watch violent scenes on TV will not have sex, while reality TV shows can lead to a loss of sexual desire in a third of couples.
