New knowledge about gender: Can men get pregnant?
Canadian scientists took blood tests from men who were about to become fathers and found that in the weeks before and after the child was born, the men's hormones also changed, and several important hormonal indicators increased.
One is prolactin, which stimulates the production of breast milk. The other is "Kaodesuo", which is generally produced slowly in pregnant women and helps mothers identify their children through smell and respond promptly to their children's needs.
Canadian physiology professor Ms. Katherine and Queen University psychology professor Ann Storey sampled and analyzed the blood of 34 couples during pregnancy and after childbirth. It was found that before the child was born, the above two hormones increased sharply in the father. Three weeks before birth, prolactin increases by 30%; corticosteroids double. While the above two hormones are on an upward trend, one hormone, "testosterone", is decreasing.
A few weeks after the birth of a child, testosterone decreases by 33%. Since testosterone is a man's sex hormone and is aggressive, its decrease will lead to a downward trend in domestic violence and a decrease in sexual desire. The protective effect on mother and child is also enhanced.
