There are two moments when a man is most handsome, one is when he is serious, and the other is When paying the bill. But many women complain that after marriage, a man's wallet becomes a bank safe. It is easy to deposit but difficult to withdraw. But according to the British "New Scientist" magazine, a new study shows that men are actually more willing to spend money on their partners after marriage.
This research was jointly completed by Arizona State University and the University of New Mexico. The researchers divided the subjects into two groups, namely the "unmarried group" and the "married group." The "married group" needs to recall the process of union with their partner and write down the scene of their first date. The "single" group looked at a street photo and then described ideal weather for a walk. The researchers then asked both groups to imagine how, how much, and with whom they would like to spend if they made a small fortune.
The results show that having a partner or not will affect men’s consumption standards and prompt them to open their wallets. In the "married group", men are more willing to spend money to buy luxury goods for their lovers and travel to Europe together. Men in the "unmarried group" not only hope to spend less, but also expect to invest less in relationships. Among the women in the "married group", more people expressed their willingness to spend time engaging in social charity activities. This difference was not seen in either group of men.
