Why are women prone to diseases of the reproductive system but men are less likely to get them? This is mainly due to differences in the structure of the male and female reproductive systems. The male reproductive system and urinary system share a channel, the urethra, which communicates with the outside world, but not with the pelvic cavity and abdominal cavity. The female reproductive system is completely separated from the urinary system.
