Common manifestations of mysophobia

visibility58 Views comment0 comments person Posted By: Eric King list In: sexual psychology

Mysophobia is a sexual psychological disorder. It can happen to both men and women. But it is more common in women. Especially intellectual women. Some people have an unscientific attitude towards their reproductive organs or physiological phenomena, thinking that they are ugly or dirty. The most common is that women think that their menstrual blood is unclean and that menstruation is disgraceful. So, what are the manifestations of sexual mysophobia?

(1) Physical mysophobia - a mysophobia caused by an unscientific attitude towards one's own or the body of the opposite sex, especially the reproductive organs and their physiological phenomena, such as feeling that they are ugly or dirty;

(2) Behavioral mysophobia - some women subjectively distinguish their sexual behavior as good or bad, dignified or debauched, and limit themselves accordingly to pursue good or dignified sexual behavior;

(3) Mental mysophobia - aversion to what is actually normal sexual behavior, sexual gestures or sexual language, or excessive pursuit of purity, blaming oneself for sexual indulgence as a dirty soul and moral depravity.

It is not easy for ordinary people to realize that this is mysophobia, and it is even more difficult for them to understand where their own or their partner’s mysophobia comes from. They often think that the other party must “not love me, or do not really love me”; while their own mysophobia is It's just "hygiene" or even "elegant taste".

The above are the manifestations of sexual mysophobia introduced by experts. If both parties are objectively hygienic enough, then the stronger the aversion to "dirty" in sexual life, the more serious the sexual mysophobia. In real marriage life, although severe mysophobia is rare, mild or moderate mysophobia is not a minority, and it is eroding the quality of the couple's sexual life to a greater or lesser extent.
