At this time, the entire body is relatively mature, the sperm is also relatively mature, the sperm-making function is at its strongest, and at this time, the development of all aspects of intelligence is also relatively mature. Therefore, from a fertility perspective, it should be better to have children at this age.

As for when is the best time for women to have children, Professor Lu Shan, chief physician of the Department of Gynecology of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, believes that the best time for women to have children is around 23 to 28 years old, because women's kidney qi is at its strongest at this time. After the age of 30, the rate of abnormal egg genetic material gradually increases with age. After the age of 35, the number of antral follicles in the ovary decreases sharply, causing the incidence of infertility and miscarriage to increase with age.

However, in modern society, childbirth is related to many factors. The economy, family, work, etc. have distracted the energy of many young women, making it unrealistic for women in their early 20s to get married and have children just after finishing school. Nowadays, it is not uncommon for people to have children even in their 40s, but factors such as environmental pollution, survival pressure, and mental stress have a greater impact on female endocrine. Older mothers are more likely to have various risks, complications and fetal malformations during pregnancy.

What should you pay attention to when preparing for pregnancy?

1. Pay attention to reproductive health and prevent male reproductive system diseases. Prostatitis, sexual dysfunction, sexually transmitted diseases, varicocele and other reproductive and urinary diseases can lead to infertility. Therefore, unmarried men should have a physical examination once a year to understand their health status. If they find any problems, they should go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment in time. Similarly, women should be screened for gynecological diseases in advance, just in case.

2. Develop good living habits. Give up smoking (especially within the first six months of childbirth), alcoholism and other bad living habits, stay up late and sit down less often; especially do not wear tight jeans for a long time to keep blood circulation smooth; eat more fruits and vegetables.

3. Stay away from pollution. It is understood that due to serious global pollution, the quality of male sperm around the world is relatively poor. Pollutants, compounds, unhealthy foods, etc. are all harmful to male fertility.

4. During pregnancy, you need to consciously stay away from harmful environments. Special groups of people who are engaged in radiation, drug-related work and factories who are exposed to chemical substances should pay special attention to staying away from harmful environments for at least three months before considering pregnancy.
